Gifty Powers has denied reports that she is set to get married to singer Mr 2Kay.
The award winning model took to her Instagram today to shut down the rumour making rounds on social media. She also used that platform to address their relationship.
“I saw what was written and said and heard and I must say am not pleased at those,” the model began, adding, “[I] am not getting married, I will definitely but not YET.”
And then as to the part about their relationship – if they really are engaged as the media had claimed, she said: “About Mr 2kay, he is a great special person to me, that’s all I can say.. Thanks!!”
Ouch.
The duo reportedly started dating in 2013, and have been continually spotted together. On her Instagram, the actress and model promotes his music, has never denied the dating reports, until today when she decided to set the records straight.
This is some big time public denial!
Mr 2kay was yet to make a statement as at press time.
